Salma El-Baradie

Salma holds an MSc in Health Psychology from Leiden University in the Netherlands and a Bachelor degree from the American University in Cairo in Psychology. She has experience working with underprivileged and marginalized members of the population in areas of trauma and recovery. These include adults, children and adolescents through an eclectic approach that works to alleviate distress and inner conflicts by addressing thought processes, feelings and behavior. Techniques used include but are not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Art therapy.
She has also worked extensively with children and adolescents in areas of behavior management and addressed parenting concerns regarding issues such as anxiety, depression, time management, self discipline, drug and alcohol experimentation and sexuality concerns.
Salma is particularly interested in the therapeutic journey where people discover and tackle their inner dilemmas by identifying maladaptive thought patterns and behavior and replacing them with healthier coping mechanisms.
